Xstream Entertainment Quiz Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AS MENTIONED BELOW (T&C) CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST KNOWN AS ““AIRTEL XSTREAM ENTERTAINMENT QUIZ” (HEREINAFTER THE “CONTEST”). BY PROCEEDING WITH REGISTRATION AND USE OF THE CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE T&C. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE T&C, PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST.

 
  • The name of the contest is Airtel Xstream Entertainment Quiz, all subscribers of Bharti Airtel Limited (“Airtel”),who are Indian Citizens (individuals), residing in India, aged 18 or above are encouraged to participate in the Contest for a chance to win Airtel Xstream Box
  • For the sake of clarity, a “Subscriber*/Participant” for the purpose of this Contest shall mean and include an individual/person, who is the rightful owner/user of the pre-paid or post-paid mobile connection of Airtel, registered in Airtel telecom circles as mentioned below (clause 8) and in whose name the mobile connection is active and registered as per the records maintained by Airtel.

    In the event the number / connection is registered in the name of a company/ firm, the employee who is authorized to use the connection shall submit a No Objection Certificate (NoC) and authorization of the employer duly permitting the employee to use the number for participation in the Contest, receive the prizes and accept the terms applicable for the Contest.
  • This Contest is open to all customers who participate through Airtel Thanks app.
  • The Contest shall open on 24th March 2020 00:00 hours (IST) and shall close on 7th April 2020 23:59 hours (IST). (‘Contest Period’).
  • To avail a chance to win the Contest, an Airtel subscriber needs to participate in the Quiz within the Contest Period and answer all questions correctly, through the Airtel Thanks application, available for download on the Android Play Store and the Apple Store. The above is necessary to participate in the lucky draw for a subscriber to qualify as a Participant.
  • 10 participants will be selected randomly from all participants who answer all questions correctly.
  • All winners would be called intimated via call within 48hours to confirm the address to dispatch the rewards. In order to claim the Airtel Xstream Box, winner’s address should be in serviceable pincode area for Airtel Xstream box and Airtel will not be liable to deliver the Airtel Xstream Box, if Winner’s address is not on a serviceable pincode area.
  • Prize/s are non-endorsable, non-transferable and non-substitutable under any circumstances. All the prizes shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be applicable to specific prizes and shall have to be duly complied with by the winner.
  • Airtel will not entertain any requests for exchange in lieu of the prize/s.
  • Airtel shall not be held liable/ obligated to answer for queries for a Participant’s entry or pertaining to winning or losing the Contest, or to the process of selecting the winners.
  • By entering into the Contest and accepting these Terms & Conditions, the participants acknowledge and consent to disclosing of their contact details to our logistics partner.
  • In case of any ambiguity on rewards and winners, decision will be finalized at the discretion of Airtel. This decision is at the sole discretion of Airtel and shall be final and binding on the participants of the Contest.
  • The winners confirm and consent to submit their latest photographs which may be used by Airtel for promotional activities pertaining to this Contest.
  • Products and Rewards depicted in photographs may be different from actual rewards received.
  • The prize/s shall be subject to the laws of India, including all the tax laws. All applicable regulatory and statutory duties, cess, surcharges, taxes (including TDS deduction by Airtel), insurances, transfer fees, registration fees etc. that may be applicable to avail/use the prize/s, will be borne by the winner.
  • The prizes given shall be the their MRP only, and Airtel or the logistics partner shall not be responsible for any costs/ charges/ fees applicable or imposed upon the winner in order to use the prizes and the winner will be solely responsible for obtaining DTH connection along with channel subscriptions to use the Airtel Xstream Box .
  • These terms and conditions shall constitute an agreement between Airtel and each individual participant / winners of the Contest, and these terms shall be binding on the participants and the winners.
  • This Contest is being made purely on a “best effort” basis and participation of subscribers is voluntary, and subject to acceptance of these T&C. Any failure on the part of the participant to comply with directions issued by Airtel, or in the event of any ambiguity/uncertainty/unavailability as to the identity of the participant, Airtel in their own discretion will be entitled to cancel the prizes for the said participant.
  • The subscribers shall indemnify the Airtel, their officers, directors and affiliates against any claims including third party claims, disputes, actions, liabilities and damages that may arise as a result of act or omissions of the subscribers, on account of (i) subscriber’s breach of the T&C of this OFFER, (ii) submission of incorrect personal information and /or (iii) subscriber’s failure to comply with applicable laws.
  • Airtel will not be responsible for any loss, damage, claimed/demanded by the subscribers due to any of the following reasons:-
    • Subscriber is unable to understand the terms and conditions of the Contest;
    • Subscriber is unable to understand the process of participation or is unable to participate in the Contest;
    • Subscriber is declared as a winner but is aged less than 18 years of age or is otherwise incompetent to enter into a contract;
    • Any other reason, event, error or incidence not within the control of Airtel
    • Network failure, network congestion, network unavailability or any such other technical issues.
  • Apart from the entitlement to the above prize/s, the winner or his legal heirs will have no other rights or claims against Airtel
  • The participation in this Contest implies unconditional acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Contest by the subscribers.
  • Airtel will be entitled to postpone, suspend, modify or cancel the Contest or any aspect thereof, across the entire territories of service or any part thereof, at any time before or during the Contest with or without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, technical difficulties, or any other reasons beyond Airtel’s reasonable control. If Airtel suspends or cancels the Contest in the interim, all aspects of the Contest shall be null and void. Airtel will not be liable to compensate any participant or winner for any postponement or cancellation or for any reason directly or indirectly arising out of this Contest.
  • Airtel, or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered (including loss of life), by a participant and/or any third party, directly or indirectly, by use of the prizes offered in this Contest.
  • Any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in relation to this agreement, including disputes as to its formation, will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. Subject to the point above, Airtel and the Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi alone.
