Alone is a Malayalam thriller movie set during the pandemic period and is directed by Shaji Kailas. The film was primarily shot to help workers in the film industry who had been unemployed due to the unexpected virus outbreak of Covid-19. As mentioned earlier, Mohanlal plays the lead role in the film. However, the voices in the movie were given by other actors including Baiju, Annie, and Nandu.
Written by Rajesh Jayaram, it is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the production company Aashirvad Cinemas. Though the movie was supposed to release exclusively on the OTT platform, it was released on January 26, 2023 in cinema theatres.
