  • It has a maximum limit of Rs 25,000 per transaction for classic card and Rs 50,000 per transaction for platinum card.

What are the types of Airtel virtual debit cards?

Platinum Debit Card (personalized) -This is issued to the customers of the bank who have opened a savings account. The name of the card holder comes imprinted on the card.

Classic Debit Card (Non- Personalized) – This is issued to the cardholder at the time of opening the account, so as, to facilitate immediate usage of the card. This card is generic and will not have the name of the card holder imprinted on it.

How to get Airtel Payments Bank Debit Card

If you wish to open a savings account with Airtel Payments Bank to avail the benefits of the virtual debit card, you will need your Aadhaar card and active mobile number. The verification will be done through Aadhaar biometric authentication process.

Customers may also opt for non-Aadhaar based account by visiting any of the bank branches and filling out the account opening form. The form is also available on the bank website. While bringing the customer on board, they will be asked to share their PAN card number. In the event, the pan card number is not available, form 60 will be required.
