Pay credit card bill online

Pay your credit card bill online with Net banking
As you know, net banking is one of the most preferred forms of online payments, especially, if the user is looking for safe and secure payment. If you have a net banking account with your credit card issuer, you can just login online with your credentials and register your card. After that, you can make the payment directly.
In case, you don’t have a net banking account with your credit card issuer, you can open one easily and start paying your bills on time using net banking.
Pay your credit card bill using debit card
Another way by which you can pay your credit card bill is by using your debit card.
There are very few apps which allow debit card payment for credit card bills. The feasible option is to pay using the bank account linked to the debit card. Such a payment channel is available with both credit card issuer’s app and third-party apps.
You can also go to your credit card bank’s ATM and pay the bill using your debit card there. But, you can only pay the bill if the debit card is of the same bank as the credit card.

The National Automated Clearing House includes payment channels like RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS.

One of the most trusted platforms for fund transfer, NEFT is a highly used payment mode. Although, it might take a day’s time for the fund transfer to reflect, the process is quite streamlined, easy, and secure.
You can pay your credit card bill by using any net banking account when it comes to NEFT. The funds are transferred from your savings account to your credit card account.
All you need to do is add your credit card as beneficiary and wait for 30 minutes to 24 hours for the card to be added. Once it is added, you can initiate the transaction.
Note: While adding the credit card, you will be asked an IFSC code. This IFSC code is different from your savings account code. Contact your card issuer to understand more and get the right code.
IMPS
Follow the below steps to use IMPS to pay your credit card bill:
- Download the mobile app of your bank. Login using the right credentials.
- Locate the Bank account option and then IMPS Payment option.
- You should have details like your bank account details from which funds will be transferred, MMID, contact number, billing amount, and your credit card. Enter them in relevant fields.
- Hit confirm and proceed with the transaction.
Similarly, you can use RTGS to pay your credit card bill online.
Pay your credit card bills using payment apps
This has to be the easiest way to pay your credit card bill online. Download third party apps like Paytm, PhonePe, Mobikwik, etc. These are all online payment apps.
Given that these apps are linked with your UPI IDs and/or savings bank account, the payment process is quite easy. Just find the option which says credit card bill, add your credit card, maintain sufficient amount in your bank account, and then pay the bill using the app.

- You can call customer care number of your credit card company and make the payment by sharing your account details over a secure channel. The payment is instant.
- Visit your credit card bank’s branch (Can be only exercised when credit card company has a physical office). Here, you can fill a deposit slip and pay by depositing cash. It will take 1 working day to reflect.
