Written and directed by Rajendra Reddy, the movie Amigos plays with the concept of doppelgangers. Even though this concept has been used and tested in various movies across Indian movie industry, Amigos still manages to engage audience all throughout the movie with its to and fro, between the doppelgangers. The movie revolves around three doppelgangers who find each other on doppelgangers website. Shocked by this coincidence, they decide to meet each other in Goa. Each doppelganger is quite different in their character. The initial story is all about one of the doppelgangers taking help of others to impress his existing girlfriend and make her fall in love with him again.

However, the movie takes a serious turn when they find out the real identify of one of the doppelgangers. Mixed with the bad crowd, the other two get together to put him down and save themselves from international police.

The movie starts out as a comedy film and shifts to a thriller one quite rapidly. The audience is bound to be engaged through and through.
