Shyamal is the former Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC in India. As Chairman, Shyamal was at the forefront of making PwC a more future-ready firm, investing in and strengthening the firm’s key capabilities across its people, go-to-market initiatives, and internal transformation.
As a leader, Shyamal has been known for building a culture that is values-driven, encourages innovation and robust governance. He has also been a staunch advocate of bringing in more diversity in the talent pool at PwC and has spearheaded initiatives that are today bearing fruit.

Justice (Retd.) Arjan Kumar Sikri

Justice (Retd.) Arjan Kumar Sikri holds LL.M from Delhi University and has also been conferred Doctorate of Laws (LLD Honoris Causa by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow). He has over 45 years of distinguished service in legal & judiciary and retired as a judge of the Supreme Court of India. Justice Sikri has numerous publications in the field of commercial laws, human rights, arbitration and other legal areas. Currently, Justice Sikri is an International Judge of the Singapore International Commercial Court. He is also, amongst others, Chairperson of the Oversight Committee & High Powered Committee of the Char Dham Project; Chairperson of the Committee for Formulating an Action Plan for Online Dispute Resolution; Chairman of News Broadcasting & Digital Standards Authority; Chairperson, Grievance Redressal Board, Digital Publisher Content Grievances Council (DPCGC); Chairman, Global Advisory Board, Insolvency Law Academy (ILA), New Delhi; Chairman, Chayan Parishad, K.K. Mr. Tao Yih Arthur Lang
Non Executive Director
Mr Arthur Lang, 51, was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer on 1 April 2021. He is responsible for Singtel Group’s finance-related functions, including treasury, tax and investor relations and he also oversees the management of the Group’s regional associates and its portfolio of strategic telecom investments. He also spearheads Singtel’s efforts in GXS, the regional digital bank joint venture with Grab.
Arthur joined Singtel in January 2017 as CEO, International. Before joining Singtel, he was Group CFO of CapitaLand, where he also ran CapitaLand’s real estate investment management business. He was awarded the Best CFO (Large Cap) at the 2015 Singapore Corporate Awards. Prior to CapitaLand, Arthur was at Morgan Stanley where he was Co-head of the Southeast Asia investment banking division and Chief Operating Officer of the Asia Pacific investment banking division.
Arthur was named Chairman of the National Kidney Foundation in November 2020. He is also a board member of Bharti Airtel, Intouch Holdings, AIS, GXS Bank, the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and Singapore Tourism Board. In 2018, Arthur was awarded the Public Service Medal for his contributions.
Arthur has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics (magna cum laude) from Harvard University.

Mr. Gopal Vittal is currently the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Bharti Airtel Limited. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director & CEO for the brand for twelve years during which period, Airtel built a winning portfolio of businesses across mobile, B2B, Home Broadband, DTH and digital services.
Under his leadership, Airtel has achieved a lifetime high in terms of both revenue market share and enterprise value in a very competitive market.
Over the past several years Gopal has been driving the brand’s digital transformation journey including defining the culture, metrics, incentives for collaboration and overall “re- imagining the business”.
Prior to Airtel, Gopal was with Unilever for close to two decades working across sales, marketing and general management in markets spanning India, Thailand, Indonesia and China. In his last assignment at Unilever, he led the Home and Personal care business and strengthened the entire portfolio by growing market share and profitability across categories
Mr. Vittal is an alumnus of Madras Christian College and has completed his MBA from IIM, Kolkata.

Mr. Soumen Ray
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ray is an accomplished and seasoned leader with more than 2 decades of experience in Financial Planning, Managerial accounting, Factory commercial, and corporate sectors. He has experience of devising medium and long-term strategic plans along with key drivers of growth and expansion.
Prior to joining Bharti group, he was associated with Bajaj Auto Limited where he led finance, treasury and taxation. He also played a key role in development of roadmap of electric vehicle. He has held senior leadership positions in finance, strategy, analytics, M&A and data science in several large companies like Viacom18, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, and Eveready Industries India.

Mr. Pankaj Tewari
Company Secretary
Pankaj Tewari is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a law-graduate with over 21 years of professional experience spread across Industry and Consulting. He is the Group Company Secretary of Bharti group since June 2017 reporting to the group Chairman. He is responsible for ensuring high standards of Corporate Governance across the group. He has anchored / supported marquee corporate transactions including some of the largest fund-raising initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and overseas listing of Airtel Africa plc. He has engaged with regulatory bodies at senior levels both in India & overseas and represented the Company at various fora.
Pankaj is a part of Bharti Management Board and serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of various Bharti Group companies including Bharti Enterprises Limited, Airtel Digital Limited and Indus Towers Limited amongst others.
Before joining Bharti Group, he had a long stint of 12 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He has worked extensively in Corporate and allied laws, Corporate Governance and Compliance space and has the experience of working with Senior Boards on governance, board-effectiveness and evaluation. He led the thought leadership initiative on the new company law and conducted workshops for boards of several large listed and multinational companies. Prior to PwC, Pankaj has worked in the industry in the corporate secretarial and legal domain.
Pankaj has been a member of committees on corporate laws and regulatory affairs in CII, FICCI & PHD Chamber of Commerce. He has been a CII nominee on Secretarial Standards Board. He has been extensively involved in various initiatives on public advocacy, policy matters and thought leadership. Douglas Anderson Baillie has a vast experience in the field of human resource and rich background of diverse leadership roles in both private & public sectors. He spent around 38 years at Unilever where his roles included President of Western Europe in the Netherlands until 2011, Group Vice President of South Asia, CEO Hindustan Unilever in India until 2008, Group Vice President Africa and the Middle East from 2004 to 2006 and Chief HR Officer from 2011 until 2016.Presently, he is a Trustee of the Leverhulme Trust Board, one of the largest all-subject providers of research funding in the UK. and also serves as a Non-executive Director of the Huhtamaki Group. Douglas graduated from the University of Natal in South Africa with majors in business finance, marketing, and business administration.

Nisaba Godrej is the Executive Chairperson of Godrej Consumer Products Limited. She has been a key architect of GCPL's strategy and transformation for almost two decades. She is also the Chairperson of Teach for India and sits on the board of Godrej Industries, Godrej Agrovet, Bharti Airtel, and Mahindra and Mahindra. She has a BSc degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a published author for both finance and fiction, and actively participates in women’s professional and leadership initiatives. Kimsuka has also won numerous industry awards.
